Wow! What an amazing day we had today. We have a lot of "Smarties" in Room Four this year. We spent a lot of time setting up our books, and sticking in different things into our books.
In writing we wrote about our families and who we are. We completed our first "Five Minute Frenzy!", where we have to do as many addition facts that we can in five minutes. How many did you get today?
After morning tea we started our Reading Rotations. During this week your child should be bringing home a reading book. Please remember to put your books back into the "Book Returns Monster" box.
We started listening to our book called, Gangsta Granny. We are looking forward to hearing what happens in the story. We don't think that we have any Gangsta Granny's with students in Room Four.
After lunch we had our assembly and then buddy time with Room Five. We are all excited about having Room Five as our buddies.
